CPR

Soooo...I did CPR training yesterday. Woot.
It wasn't bad, it is all good knowledge to know, and I'm glad to be certified. The only part that really wasn't so great, was that I was paired with a guy. The only guy in the class. You have no idea how awkward it was when in came to learning the placing of the hands for the Heimlich. This guy was over 6 feet and a little round around the waist, not fat, just a little pudgy. Yeah...awkward. I had no problem with putting my arms around his waist,a little tentative but I knew it needed to be done. But it took every fiber of my being to not react and do something because he was in my bubble. Good thing it only took a few seconds. Rawr!
Beside that, all is good. But every time I go to push down or do something with the palm of my right hand, the anoying little pain reminds me of how many times I did chest compresions. You could say racquetball was interesting because it took me a minute to figure out a postion with the handle to where it wasn't bothering my palm so much, but it was a blast! Even if I got my butt handed to me, it was fun.
